Week Two.Topic One.
H: The "new voices" that are appearing via the internet and other forms of interactivity, are saying everything. People are sharing thoughts and feelings (through blogs and video blogs). People are doing things online like miming along to songs, as well as things such as bank details, photographs and school work. All stuff that people would not even think about sharing with the public, but because of the internet, people are willing to share everything. I am very careful about what I put online, I will not even disclose my full date of birth online, yet people are transfering money along with deep personal things such as their problems on blogs for the world to see and judge them.

I agree, I don't really like sharing too much information online unless I know it'll be 100% anonymous. It frustrates me when I see on people's facebook their full address and telephone numbers, I've read stuff in the press about people tracing their comments and finding out when they won't be home and them being burgled. It definately makes me think that too much information being available is a bad thing, because they can be combined like in the facebook example and have bad consquences. But then again, shouldn't I be just as scared of someone pick-pocketing my bag and stealing my keys? It is just another worry to add to the list and if it weren't this it'd be something else?
